When building a profitable practice, in being present in the moment, you still have goals that you’re trying to attain and reach. Some may ask, ‘How do you do this? What are some tips or strategies for goal visualization in the present moment? And how does that lead to success?’ What’s one big goal you’ve set for yourself? What type of wonderful reality would you like to create? Many of us long for better financial control. A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck and hope to one day achieve financial independence. Weight loss is a common goal. The billions that the weight loss industry makes year after year, come from the dreams of people who wish they could lose weight and become slimmer, trimmer, and sexier. Some seek weight loss for health reasons, rather than the desire to turn heads when bathing suit season arrives.

For whatever reason, you have certain things you would like to accomplish. Regarding the goal you’re thinking about now, have you made a game plan? You probably have. You know, the quickest way to reach a destination in the shortest amount of time is to know exactly where you’re going and how you’re going to get there. Now think of something you desired in the past but failed to achieve. Why did that happen? You probably had a good set of marching orders. You looked at what other people did to achieve what you were trying to do. You copied their methods and maybe even got some training or coaching. Yet, you still failed. Why?

Maybe you didn’t embrace the present moment when trying to achieve your goals.

A 50-year-old man is really only one millisecond old. Your present moment in time is almost unmeasurable. Your existence right here and right now is only this short measurement of time. And as quickly as it happened, it’s now in your past and you’re experiencing a new present moment. Incidentally, this is the only time you have any control over your life. That’s why it’s so important to embrace the present moment.

When trying to achieve any goal, find a calm, quiet place that’s free of distractions. Clear your thoughts. If any random thoughts appear or you experience that ceaseless inner voice that never seems to shut up, push those thoughts away. Think of the goal you so desperately want to achieve. If you’ve already developed a game plan, think about it. Don’t do anything other than visualizing the steps you need to take to reach that goal. This is your current moment, the only moment in time that you exist — the here and now.

Focus on your goals and the things you need to do to achieve them. Visualize the challenging work. move through the process in your mind as if you’ve achieved the things you need to create the desired result. Then visualize that wonderful reality. Take a little time each day to engage in this present moment visualization technique. It can help you realize that all you have is the here and now. That means it’s important to embrace your goals in the present moment. Then take action to turn your dreams into reality.

Now that you have visualized your goals, you will need to stay focused on them. Check out our blog post here for simple ways to stay focused on your goals.
